I can attest that it kept me healthy. I can also attest to it not leaving much a hangover after a night (or day) of consumption. Some homemade versions can be rather difficult to swallow, though. It is like gin, but is not dry. It has a very full feel in the mouth, a very complete flavor. I suggest it to anyone. I just wish I could find it stateside.
