Gin & Tonic Sorbet

The people at Martin Miller’s Gin don’t think you are drinking enough of their product and recently sent out an interesting sounding sorbet recipe that uses their gin. I’ve made a similar sorbet with vodka and it was super refreshing! It was a big hit at the parties where I served it. The one caveat is that, as with many sorbets, it won’t hold too long so you want to consume it fairly quickly - probably within a week or so.

I haven’t made this recipe but it seems like the proportions are similar to the version I made so I’m sure it will be nice and refreshing!

Martin Milleršs Gin & Tonic Sorbet
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp confections sugar
  • 2 cups seltzer
  • Juice of 6 lemons, strained
  • 2 cups of tonic
  • 2 oz of Martin Milleršs Gin

Bring the sugars, seltzer and lemon juice to a boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in Martin Millers Gin and tonic. Refrigerate until cold, and then chill to slush stage in an ice cream/sorbet maker. Store in freezer.

If you donšt have an ice cream/sorbet maker Transfer the mix to a shallow container; put into the freezer; stir with a fork once every hour for about 5 hours or until you arrive at slush stage.

Garnish with a mint sprig, scoop of lemon curd or some fresh lemon zest and enjoy!
