Challenge: Bartender Battle


If you are an aspiring flair bartender, do we have the show for you! On Sunday, Food Network will be airing a special, Bartender Battle, showcasing six top bartenders. They will be judged on flair; how fast they can pour a specific set of cocktails; and there’s a recipe competition. A little something for everyone…

The competition takes place in South Beach. The bartenders are: Christian Delpech, Carnival Court at Harrah’s Las Vegas Casino Hotel; Rodrigo Delpech, Rosen Plaza Hotel; Levi Donaldson, Voodoo Lounge at Harrah’s North Kansas City; Robyn Closson, Carnival Court at Harrah’s Las Vegas Casino Hotel; Toby Ellis, Tangerine Lounge & Nightclub; and Thomas Alley, Voodoo Lounge at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

I certainly don’t have the knack for the flair competitions, but I love watching them. Remember Tom Cruise in Cocktail at the bar? Loved those scenes.
