Trick or Drink - Dead Guy Ale

Rogue Dead Guy AleBoo! Now that I have your attention, let’s think about what we are going to drink for this, the scariest of holidays. Pint of Dead Guy Ale anyone?

Recently one of my friends told me about the most civilized way to celebrate Halloween in your neighborhood. It’s called “Trick or Drink.” The rules are simple. You go from house to house. The kids get candy. The adults get alcohol. I like this so much I’m thinking about starting a new tradition in my neighborhood this year. I’m going to go by the beer shop and pick up several growlers of Dead Guy Ale from Rogue and offer the parents a pint. I’ll let you know if it’s popular.

Dead Guy is actually a very nice beer. It’s probably my favorite of the Rogue line-up. It ranks highly because its a good, solid German-style Maibock that is easily drinkable and doesn’t seem to pack too much of a punch.

Dead Guy has been around for almost fifteen years and was originally brewed to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead or November 1st. Actually, the entire month of November is the Month of the Dead, so go ahead and get a case of Dead Guy and have a Dead Month.
