					<description>Has anyone tried to make a cocktail from the recipes?  I have, and found right away that most of the drinks contain only around 3 oz.  These are the smallest cocktails ever.  If you double them up they are way too boozy.  Maybe i just need smaller glasses.</description>

					<description>Cate, I was thinking over this again this morning and I think the key may be in the name of the book.  Maybe the focus is intended to be really more on the bar and the background than on the drinks.

As I said, it's not that I don't like the book - I think there are a lot of good things about it.  It's just when I look at it in comparison to other books it seems a little light.</description>

					<description>96 recipes in 140 pages seems like plenty to me, but with the history and background in the book, that's enough to put the book on my list.  That has always been one of my favorite parts of any recipe/cookbook.</description>
