Planning the Perfect Party Bar
With the warmer weather finally here, outdoor parties are sure to be heating up. In the June issue of Country Living magazine, Lynn Butler gave some great tips on keeping the alcohol flowing, without busting your budget.
- Choice picks. In lieu of a full bar, which can be expensive, Lynn limited the choices to two varieties of beer, and Champagne from which guests could make flavorful Bellinis.
- Help yourself. Lynn offered three flavors of juice to make Bellinis - mango, peach, and framboise - each labeled, so guests could mix their own.
- Corking it. To keep the juices fresh, Lynn stoppered each jug with a mini pineapple.
- Card smart. Lynn’s thoughtful attention to detail extended even to the calligraphed cards for the table, which incorporated an ink color that matched her party’s blue/green palette.
