Encouraged by The Future Mrs Stelzer, aka The Enabler, we have begun our bottles of spirits collection. You see, we’ve been making cocktails lately, reading books by David Wondrich, Dale DeGroff, A.J. Rathbun, and consulting websites like DrinkBoston.com and others. We’ve tried to duplicate some of the drinks we’ve had at Green Street, Eastern Standard, and Drink, and I’ve decided to take a class or two at Sel de la Terre in the next couple of months. It relly helps demistify Jerry Thomas' book and It makes it wonderfully easy to replicate those old recepies. Now, hopefully some of the spirits companies will start to make some more authentic spirits which are based on the ingrediants used in the 1800's and early 1900's Great book Dave!
