A Chinese Cocktail
I’ve come across two great cocktail recipes that should bring us kicking and screaming into ‘08 and banish those post New Years and Christmas doldrums.
They are the creation of a Dim Sum restaurant chain in London. They don’t give full recipe details with quantities and such as the website is obviously trying to entice customers but they describe the Lychee Red Black Tea as
“A sweet black tea from Guangdong province, scented with lychee, infused overnight in cold filtered water with chrysanthemum flower and lime leaves and garnished with fresh lychee fruit”.
That is the detox version. The alcoholic Retox utilises tequila; much more my thing! If visiting Ping Pong the non-alcoholic version costs £2.95, the alcoholic £5.95.
Incidentally - for those wanting to serve some authentic dim sum with (or without the cocktails) the site has a how to make dim sum video.

Ping Pong is great. I love the flowering teas - they’re amazing.
