A Wine for WBW
For once I am ahead of the game! I have found, consumed and written up a wine for the next round of Wine Blogging Wednesday.
Yep, over on Spittoon, if the ’schedule’ facility works correctly, there will appear a wonderful little post on the delights of a white from Venezia Giulia, Italy. It is all primed for the 16th.
There is a problem though. The wines from this little area of Italy seem to be the preserve of the independent wine merchant rather than the high street chains and supermarkets. In a search around my town I managed to find just ONE wine from this area. Which is were the problem lies - for I do not have another bottle to write-up here, on Wine Sediments! While I have found many of the UK’s famed independent merchants list many delicious sounding wines, post-Christmas funds are too tight to buy any - the good stuff doesn’t come cheap.
I just hope one of our talented team can come up trumps and find a bottle!
