The Spirit World

Veev is a spirit made from Brazil’s National fruit, the Acai (pronounced ah-SIGH-ee) berry. The Acai is a packed with antioxidants, Omega3s, calcium, vitamin C & E and protein. The spirit also contains prickly pear and Acerola Cherry. I found Veev made from the Acai berry to be very refreshing and clean on the palette.  It had a fresh clean fresh flavor and a natural tasting sweetness that wold lend itself to just about every beverage combination that utilizes Vodka.  The Acai berry, a Brazilian fruit somewhat similar to the blueberry but a bit more tart is attributed to having great healthy properties and is full of flavorful nutrients.

The 60 proof spirit has a slight yellowish tint with a mild sweet citrus scent. The taste is a bit sweet with hints of cherry, chocolate and citrus. It makes a great mojito and delicious Martini, but I prefer it neat with a little ice.
